Federal Stafford Loan
For undergraduate and graduate students. Wells Fargo makes paying for college easy with:
- No credit check. Since the loan is federally guaranteed, even those with little or no credit can qualify
- No payments while you’re in school at least half-time — and, you can defer repayment for up to six months after you leave school
Federal PLUS Loan For Parents
For parents of undergraduate dependent students. Parents will enjoy:
- The opportunity to qualify regardless of income or assets
- The option to postpone payments for up to five years while the student is enrolled at least half-time (must request forbearance annually)
Federal Loan Application Process
If you choose not to sign your Master Promissory Note (MPN) electronically when you apply online, print the MPN, sign it, and return it to Wells Fargo at PO Box 5185, Sioux Falls, SD 57117-5185. That's all you need to do. Wells Fargo will notify the financial aid department of your request so your school can certify your loan.
